deadly storms

it has been ravaged by raging storms for weeks now. what usually begins as a pleasant, light rain will suddenly increase to become more and more powerful, violent even. due to the strong force of the wind, hundreds of umbrellas tragically die each day, abandoned by their owners on cold sidewalks and in dirty gutters. the wind horribly disfigures these noble creatures, leaving them mangled and hardly recognizable. when the fierce, unapologetic rain will cease we do not know, but we will keep these brave soldiers in our hearts and minds forevermore.
